EARTH DAY CELEBRATION

Earth day: Sunday, April 19, 2020

Join our salute to Mother Nature on Sunday, April 19, 2020
The Children’s Nature Retreat Foundation’s festivities get underway
at 11am and run until 1:30pm.

  • 11AM:  A Sun Salute gathering – a stretching session near the picnic area. We’ll reach for the sky, bend to the earth and twist like the wind.

  • 11:30 AM:  Meet an animal.
  • 12:00PM:  Special Earth Day, Rock the Hunt Game:  Find the special rock hidden somewhere around the Retreat and win a prize.  (Find out what rock to look for at the picnic area at high noon.)
  • 12:30PM:   Rooster crowing contest at picnic area.  Who comes closest to mimicking our Bantam roosters? Yes, a special prize for the best crower!
  • 1:00PM:  Meet an animal. 
Standard admission rates apply for the day.  All event activities are free with admission.
We are open 7 days a week from 10AM – 7:00PM.
